Dear Utah Education Association members,

Happy Holidays! I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude and admiration for the incredible work you do every single day. Your unwavering dedication to shaping the hearts and minds of our most precious resource, our children, does not go unnoticed. I see how hard you work, your challenges, and the love and commitment that is part of who you are, an educator.

This year, more than ever, you have shown creativity, resilience, and boundless compassion in navigating the challenges that have come our way following the global pandemic. Your commitment to providing a safe, equitable, and nurturing learning environment for our students has made a lasting impact on their lives, their families, and the greater community.

Your passion for public education and the well-being of your students is a beacon of inspiration for us all.

As we pause to celebrate the joy and warmth of the holiday season, let us reflect on your positive influence on countless lives. Your passion for public education and the well-being of your students is a beacon of inspiration for us all. Protecting the promise of public education is what we do as we promote quality schools for ALL of Utah’s children and advocate for the well-being of you, our members.

You keep that promise each and every day as you foster a strong sense of belonging for each of your students and prepare lessons that engage your students’ curiosity and creativity. Meeting the individual needs of your students allows them to thrive and reach their full potential.

May this holiday season bring you well-deserved rest, moments of joy, and the company of loved ones. May you find time to recharge, reflect, and rejuvenate, preparing for the new year ahead.

Thank you for being the dedicated, compassionate, and inspiring educators that you are. Your efforts are truly the foundation of a brighter future.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a well-deserved break.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Renée

P.S. Get ready to engage during the 2024 Legislative session. We need your passion, powerful voice, and advocacy. Our collective power can and will make a difference!
