Nominations for the 2026 UEA Honor Roll Award have closed.
The UEA encourages, supports, and celebrates the nomination of Black, Latin-/o/a/@/e/x, Asian American, Indigenous and Pacific Islander educators, as well as LGBTQIA+ educators, veterans, people living with disabilities, and other educators with lived experience as part of marginalized communities.
Eligibility
- The nominee must have provided outstanding service to education, including but not limited to legislators, media members, businesses, organizations, parents and other individuals not currently in a teaching position.
- Individuals or groups wishing to nominate an honoree may develop a file of documents substantiating the nomination to accompany the nomination form.
- Provide a black and white or color photo.
- Nominators must be UEA members.

The UEA Board of Directors carefully considers the award nominees. The awards are presented at the Superstars in Education banquet.
