Aspiring Educator Membership

The Utah Education Association’s Aspiring Educators Program (UEA-AEP) is Utah’s professional association for college students who plan to become educators.

The UEA empowers college students embarking on a journey to shape the future of education.

Students enrolled in any of Utah's post-secondary or higher education institutions who are not employed full-time in a regular teaching position within a pre–K–12 education agency or institution are eligible to become members of the Aspiring Educators Program. The program was formerly known as the UEA Student Program, and its name was officially changed to the Aspiring Educators Program by program leaders during the 2018 House of Delegates.

The UEA-AEP is an affiliate of the Utah Education Association and the National Education Association.
