The Utah Education Association is proud to announce that Primetime, the official e-newsletter of UEA-Retired, received first place at the 2025 NEA-Retired Annual Meeting in Portland, OR, for best state retired e-newsletter among small-membership affiliates.

This national recognition was awarded for the newsletter’s extraordinary support of public education and its outstanding quality in connecting and informing retired members. The honor highlights the dedication and professionalism of the UEA-Retired team.

UEA-Retired President Tom Nedreberg accepted the award on behalf of the association. The winning publication was produced by UEA-R Secretary Keith Tondro and edited by Cathy Boyd.

"We are thrilled to see the work of our retired members recognized on a national level," said UEA President Renée Pinkney. "This award reflects our commitment to keeping retired educators informed, engaged and united in supporting Utah’s students and public schools."
