Who can run
Any member in good standing who has been an active UEA member for the three years immediately preceding the election.
That's the whole requirement. You don't need to have held office before. If you work in a small district or a rural part of the state or if you're newer to the profession, those are the perspectives most often missing when seats sit empty.
