UEA Demands Resignation of Utah Board of Education Member Cline

We must come together to protect the well-being and rights of all students, ensuring that Utah’s public schools embody diversity, inclusivity, and respect.

The Utah Education Association (UEA) condemns the recent actions and statements by Utah State Board of Education member Natalie Cline. Her public questioning of a high school athlete's gender on social media is wholly unacceptable and unbecoming of an elected official charged with the welfare and education of Utah’s children.

The UEA calls for Ms. Cline's immediate resignation from the Utah State Board of Education. We must come together to protect the well-being and rights of all students, ensuring that Utah’s public schools embody diversity, inclusivity, and respect.
