The UEA Honor Roll Award celebrates trailblazers and game-changers in public education, spotlighting exceptional contributions from legislators, media influencers, businesses, organizations, parents, and non-teaching individuals who have left an indelible mark on learning in Utah.

2025 UEA Honor Roll Award nominations are now open.
Nominations must be submitted or postmarked by Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Any nominations received after this date will not be considered.
The UEA encourages, supports, and celebrates the nomination of Black, Latin-/o/a/@/e/x, Asian American, Indigenous and Pacific Islander educators, as well as LGBTQIA+ educators, veterans, people living with disabilities, and other educators with lived experience as part of marginalized communities.
Eligibility
- The nominee must have provided outstanding service to education, including but not limited to legislators, media members, businesses, organizations, parents and other individuals not currently in a teaching position.
- Individuals or groups wishing to nominate an honoree may develop a file of documents substantiating the nomination to accompany the nomination form.
- Provide a black and white or color photo.

Selection
The UEA Board of Directors carefully considers the award nominees. A winner is chosen and announced around April. The awards are presented at the Superstars in Education banquet.
