Our President

Renée Pinkney has been a public educator for over two decades and is a fierce advocate for Utah's students and educators.

Park City social studies teacher Renée Pinkney was elected by her fellow educators in a statewide vote in early 2022 to serve a three-year term as president of the 18,000-member Utah Education Association. Her term began July 15, 2022. She was reelected in 2025 to continue for another three-year term.

Pinkney has taught in Utah public schools since 1995. She served as UEA vice president from 2019 to 2022 and as a member of the UEA Board of Directors representing the Eastern Utah UniServ from 2016 to 2019.
