Sen. Mayne (D-West Valley City) passionately advocated for Utah's students, public educators, and working families throughout her life.

Before spending 15 years in the legislature, she served as a paraeducator in the Granite School District. Sen. Mayne’s tireless efforts on behalf of public education left a lasting impact on Utah’s schools.

Her legacy of ensuring that educators' voices are heard will continue to inspire and guide UEA's work in supporting and strengthening public education in Utah.
