Why Your Voice is Important

Utah’s Core Standards are more than just guidelines; they’re the foundation of what every student in our state is expected to learn and master. They shape the way you teach and students learn. By sharing your thoughts and suggestions, you can help ensure these standards are up-to-date and beneficial.

How You Can Get Involved

The USBE recently launched the 2024 Annual Core Standards survey to gather insights. It will be open from July 23 to August 23, 2024, and the state wants to hear from as many voices as possible. Please consider participating. 

Important Dates:

  • Survey Opens: July 23, 2024
  • Survey Closes: August 23, 2024
  • Results Discussion: September 6, 2024

Before you fill out the survey, you can review the current core standards to see what’s being taught. Then, share your thoughts on what’s working and what could be improved.
