Call for Proposals: Summer Learning Institute
Submit a session proposal by April 30
Public educators and school teams are testing new approaches every day. The Summer Learning Institute (SLI) is a place to share what’s working and learn from colleagues across Utah.
The UEA is accepting session proposals from educators, teams and leaders. Submit a proposal that highlights an innovative practice, an effective strategy, or leadership and membership work that others can adapt in their own schools.
What we’re looking for:
- Classroom practices that improve student learning
- Strategies that strengthen instruction and support staff
- Leadership and membership work that builds strong school communities
Deadline: Proposal submissions close April 30.
Please submit a proposal and share this invitation with colleagues who may be interested!
UEA's Summer Learning Institute 2026 will be held June 16 & 17
The event will be held at Zions Technology Center, 7860 S Bingham Junction Blvd, Midvale.
SLI is UEA’s premier two-day professional learning event, designed to empower members with the tools, skills, and strategies to lead effectively in their schools and local association. It replaces the Summer Leader Academy and is a professional learning alternative to Utah’s Show Up for Teachers conference. Whether members are established leaders or just starting out, SLI offers practical, evidence-based learning to help you grow your leadership and impact.
