UEA Honor Roll Awards

Nominations for the 2021 UEA Honor Roll Award are now CLOSED.


Selection Criteria and Process:

  • The nominee must have provided outstanding service to education, including but not limited to legislators, members of the media, businesses, organizations, parents and other individuals who are not currently in a teaching position.
  • Individuals or groups wishing to nominate an honoree may develop a file of documents substantiating the nomination to accompany the nomination form.
  • Must provide a black and white or color photo.
  • The award nominees are carefully considered and a winner(s) determined by the UEA Board of Directors.



Nominations for the 2021 UEA Honor Roll Award closed on March 1, 2021. Nominations received after this date will not be considered. Winners are chosen and announced around April. The awards are presented at the KeyBank Superstars in Education banquet, typically held in May.

We encourage, support and celebrate nominations that reflect the diversity of Utah’s educators and communities.

Previous Winners

The 2020 UEA Honor Roll Award was given to Marcy Loveless, for helping to address the needs of children in Carbon County through the Carbon Caring for Kids program. (Please note, due to COVID-19 concerns, the 2020 banquet was cancelled. 2020 award winners will be invited to the 2021 banquet to celebrate their awards.)
