Organizing Institute (EDUC) is a one credit graduate course for UEA members provided through Weber State University. Participants will need to enroll in all four Organizing Institute sessions (Organizing Theory, Education Policy and Social Movements, Organizing Tools, and Leadership Development) to earn credit for the course. A syllabus will be sent to those registered in the Organizing Institute—there will be readings to prepare for conversations during the course. After completing the four sessions, participants engage in independent reading and online discussion and reflection moderated by facilitators to extend learning about each track topic.
