Utah teacher receives NEA Foundation grant


Cassie Cox, teacher at Two Rivers High School in Ogden School District, received a grant from the NEA Foundation to attend the 2013 National Council of Teacher of English Annual Convention. The grant was one of 53 approved by the NEA Foundation’s Board of Directors.

To date, the NEA Foundation has awarded more than $8.5 million to fund nearly 4,000 grants to public school educators to enhance teaching and learning. Teachers are encouraged to apply for the grants. Applications for the next round of grants are due June 1. Visit for additional information and to apply.
