New director at Jordan UniServ


The Jordan UniServ announced the hiring of Jennifer Boehme as a UniServ Director. She replaces Laura Black Arnold who is retiring at the end of January 2017.

Boehme is a product of the schools in the Jordan UniServ. She has taught for 24 years at Jordan District schools including time at Riverton, Monte Vista, Jordan Hills, Elk Meadows and Heartland Elementary School. She attended BYU for her undergraduate work and received an MBA from the University of Utah.

Boehme served as the president and vice president of the Jordan Education Association. Elected by her peers as the president of the UEA Council of Local Presidents, Boehme had the opportunity to work with Association leaders around the state. She also served in this capacity as a member of the UEA Board of Directors. She has served on many district and UEA committees for the past 21 years.

The Jordan UniServ serves educators in Jordan and Canyons School Districts. Boehme joins Jessica Dunn who was named a Jordan UniServ director in 2013.
