Alpine UniServ names new director

The Alpine UniServ appointed Glenda H. Anderson to the position of UniServ director following many years of service, hard work and dedication to the profession. Anderson served as the UniServ administrative assistant for the past eight years.

“I am very excited to take on my new role at the UniServ. I love helping teachers,” said Anderson. “I have seen firsthand over the past 18 years in Alpine how hard teachers work and care about each one of their students. I see the demand more than ever to protect the rights of educators. I look forward to advocating for teachers and helping them to better understand the new evaluation system and other new policies.”

Anderson worked for Alpine School District for 10 years prior to joining Alpine UniServ in 2007.

“I have been highly involved in the evaluation toolkit training process over the past two years,” she said. “I have seen Alpine School District grow in many ways; I have built a professional working relationship with the district and look forward in maintaining a positive relationship with the new soon-to-be-announced superintendent. I am delighted to be a part of what I feel is the best district in the state.”

Anderson also operates her own private accounting/payroll/tax company and has done this for 25 years. She enjoys running and has run several marathons and half marathons.
