2018 UEA Election Results

Mindy Layton In accordance with its Bylaws, the UEA held an online General Election March 21-April 11, 2018, for the ten UEA state offices subject to election in 2018, including NEA State Director and NEA-RA Delegate-At-Large, and three other UEA Board positions.

In the race for NEA State Director, Mindy Layton was elected to serve a three-year term. Also elected were four UEA Board of Directors members, including Heidi Jensen as NEA-RA Delegate-At-Large. Additionally, the proposed constitutional amendment allowing UEA-Retired more representation at the annual UEA House of Delegates passed with the yeas receiving 95.4% and the nays receiving 4.6% of the ballots cast.
